At the age of eighty-six I am one of the few last Holocaust Survivors and Witness of the genocide in Croatia.
This website is in memory of my parents and other Holocaust victims.
Neo-Nazism is threating Europe to-day, and we feel something must be done now.
To-day the anti-fascist public should be aware and reminded of what happened during the Holocaust with specific emphasis on Jasenovac were:
The crimes of the fascist Croat Ustasha against Serbs, Jews, Roma and Anti-fascists must be known. A summary of crimes committed in Jasenovac 1941-42 is given below:
The precise number of brutally killed Jasenovac victims will never be established because we will never know the names of those:
Who disappeared in the waters of the Sava River and were buried as “John or Jane Doe”
Who were burned in Picilli’s furnaces
Who were boiled for soap
Who were crucified and nailed to the poplars of terror, left to die slowly
Whose graves were dug up in 1945 and whose remains were doused with petrol and burned
Who were blown up so as to enable German war monitor to pass under Branko’s Bridge in Belgrade
Some new facts have emerged:
1) Before WWII the Croatian Jewish Community numbered over 45,000 before the Ustasha regime 1941-45 murdered large numbers of Serbs, Jews, Roma and Anti-fascists
2) Jasenovac is considered to be the Auschwitz of the Balkans
3) 20,000 children were murdered in Jasenovac
4) There were eight Extermination Camps in WWII in Europe:
Auschwitz, Chetmno, Betzec, Majdanek, Sorbibor, Treblinka, Maly Trostenets
5) On April 30 racial legislation against Jews and Roma was Established in Croatia
6) 180,000 Serbs were killed from April 13 to June 26, 1941
7) Both mass industrial and manual killings were practiced at Jasenovac
In my mind this is the “most grotesque and vicious evil behavior of human beings. The incredible part is that I lived among such people being the perfect target – A small Jewish orphan being defenseless and at times alone. But I survived.
This is one of the most compelling reasons I believe in the Good Lord absolutely.
The reference Book is “Jasenovac Auschwitz of the Balkans” by Prof. Dr. Gideon Greif, published in 2018 – Total of 2,000 copies.
I. The second reason for the website is to establish a permanent site for a Holocaust Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas.
The monument attached to the Website was built in 2017 and displayed in Humble, Cypress and Pasadena for up to one month duration at each location.
In 2019 we plan to erect the monument at a permanent exhibit as shown in the attached two photos during and day and night.
The site belongs to the American Legion.

In order to create the memorial and place it on a permanent site it took a tremendous effect for many years with the help of my wife and friends in Texas and it has now become a reality. We have tried with the exhibit of Jasenovac on a small scale of the camp including the ovens where thousands of men died including my father.
